 Detailed Description

Author: Rabbi Yosef Y. Schneersohn
Publisher: Kehot Publication Society
Language: Hebrew
Format: 6x9 Hardcover, 604 pages

The year 1922 (5682) is an important one in recent Chasidic history. During this year, the sixth Lubavitcher Rebbe, Rabbi Yosef Yitzchak Schneersohn, of blessed memory, began delivering Chasidic discourses on a regular basis. Although he became leader of Chabad-Lubavitch in Nissan 1920, he was not well for most of 1921.

Yet, the manuscripts of 1922 have never been published.

The new book contains 32 discourses, transcribed from the original manuscript of Rabbi Yosef Yitzchak. The discourses have been analyzed and annotated by the Chabad Research Center, with added appendixes and details indexes.

A fascinating, 70-chapter series of discourses (hemshech in Chasidic vernacular), discusses the concept of Emunah belief in G-d according to Chasidic philosophy.

An interesting historical tidbit: the book contains a discourse delivered by the Rebbe in the town of Lubavitch during a brief visit to the town during that year. As is known, Chabad-Lubavitch moved its headquarters from Lubavitch to Rostov-on-Don during WWI.
