The third Chabad Rebbe, Rabbi Menachem Mendel Schneersohn, the "Tzemach Tzedek" (1789-1866), authored many important works on Halacha and on Chasidic thought. His Chasidic teachings are published in his multi-volume series Ohr Hatorah, which is a vast compendium of Chasidic thought.
