The SHAMIR Organization, headed by Prof. Yirmiyahu Branover, has printed a new sefer in Russian on Shleimus Ha`aretz based on the Rebbe`s sichos. The sefer is called "War and Peace in our Holy Land." It contains a collection of sichos on these issues. The sichos appear in chronological order. Each one is accompanied by a brief summary of events that occurred around the time that it was given. Prof. Branover initiated the project by translating several of the sichos himself. Alexander Diakovetzky compiled the material and continued the work of translating the sichos. It is divided into two parts. The first part deals with the period from the Six Day War to the war in Lebanon. The second part is comprised of sichos following that time until the war in Iraq.
