A new translation and commentary on Psalm 49 of Tehillim.
It is customary in a shiva house to recite Psalm 49, a meditation on death`s power over pride, the meaninglessness of wealth, and the ultimate protection G-d gives the soul. The psalm is recited at the conclusion of the morning and afternoon services.
