Three discourses by Rabbi Shalom DovBer Schneersohn of Lubavitch
On the second day of Rosh Hashanah in the year 5659 (1898), Rabbi Shalom Dovber Schneersohn, the fifth Rebbe of Chabad-Lubavitch, delivered a Chasidic discourse that marked the beginning of a series of teachings. During the High Holidays, Rabbi Shalom DovBer delivered two additional discourses, each expanding on themes introduced in the first. He continued this series throughout Sukkot and in the weeks that followed, ultimately delivering a total of eight discourses.
The discourses in this series are among the first with which students of Chabad Yeshivot are initiated into more complex chasidic texts.
The current work presents an English translation of the first three discourses in this classic series.
