The work begins with a comprehensive compilation of teachings of the Alter Rebbe found outside the Alter Rebbe published oeuvre, and contains new analysis on Tanya as well as a new annotated version of the commentary on Tanya of Rabbi Groinem Esterman the famous mashpia of Tomchei Tmimim Lubavitch, thereon the HaRav tackles major topics of the development of Chabad theosophy by adding fascinating viewpoints and comparative studies, and ends with new details about the personal biography of the Alter Rebbe and shedding new light on the lives of many of his known and unknown disciples.
