Divrei Yemei HaRabbonis Rivkah
As granddaughter of RabbiDovBer, second Lubavitcher Rebbe, wife of Rabbi Shmuel, fourth Lubavitcher Rebbe, mother and grandmother of two successive Lubavitcher Rebbes, the righteous Rebbetzin Rivkah Schneersohn transmitted countless stories, facts, and anecdotes relating to the rich history of Chabad as she had heard them from her predecessors. Whether serving at her table guests or students of the original Yeshivah Tomchei Temimim, the "Elder Rebbetzin" was famous throughout the Russian town of Lubavitch and beyond for her integrity, humility, kindheartedness, and good deeds. To this day, she remains an important and revered personality in the annals of Chabad history.
This installment - #12 - of Rabbi Yosef Yitzchak`s journal presents a rich biography of Rebbetzin Rivkah Schneersohn (1834-1914) as well as valuable information regarding the third, fourth, and fifth generations of the Chabad leadership.
